Hello, and welcome to Derek's Ani-Mayhem Revival Headquarters. Our mission: Revive Ani-Mayhem here, at the start of the next millenium, and carry it until the next millenium! Yes... that may technically be impossible, seeing as how I will be dead in about maybe 60 more years, but a guy can dream, can't he?

Anyway, this site is going to accomplish two things:

  1. Explain what Ani-Mayhem is and what it was;
  2. Revive Ani-Mayhem with new cards, rules, and games.

See? Sounds like a simple plan, doesn't it? I'll be putting Spoiler lists for the original Ani-Mayhem cards, and I'll also be making new cards from different anime for use with the Ani-Mayhem game. I'm also going to be creating new rules and techniques to play Ani-Mayhem, so that people new to this now-defunct card gaming phenomenon will be able to enjoy it as much as those of us who are seasoned veterans of Ani-Mayhem. These things all will be coming sooner or later, but I will not rest until Ani-Mayhem is revived! Or at least until I finish this website. Or I receive a cease and desist order from Pioneer, or whatever. ^_^

I may not be able to update this page everyday, but I check my email usually every 2 to 3 days, so you'll get a reply in at most that amount of time.

What's New in this Update?

I have uploaded, and linked to, the Ani-Mayhem Rulebook. This is a 90% faithful re-typing and HTML-izing of the Ani-Mayhem Rulebook that was included with Set 2 Starter Packs. So why only 90%? I have made a few... VERY FEW... changes. First of all, I added a table of contents, which the original was lacking. I also rearranged the sections into something that made a little more sense to me. There were also probably a few minor grammatical and spelling errors, which I tried to change. As I've said before, though, this Rulebook is TEMPORARY. I will be constructing a new rulebook, but I am still going to credit the original authors and take no credit for myself. It's going to be a remix, you could say.

Secondly, the .txt Spoilers for Set 0 and 1 will be up soon, but not with this update. I'm still gnawing over a few changes I made to the Set 0 Spoiler. You see, in Set 1, many of the cards had Categories, which would appear between brackets at the bottom of the card. However, Set 0 cards did not have these, EVEN THOUGH many of them would fit into pre-existing categories. I took it upon myself, years ago, to add Categories to the Set 0 cards that I thought needed them. I also added a few card errata and explanations. I think what I'm going to end up doing is making two versions of the Set 0 spoiler at least; one that is faithful to the cards; and one that is my own version, with Categories and all that extra stuff. It'll take me a bit to separate the two, though, so expect them hopefully in a few days.
